Old town ambience |
Our site introduces Pirovac, a small historic Dalmatian town situated between Zadar and Šibenik and facing Island Murter. Thanks to zealous locals Pirovac is one of the fastest developing resorts on Croatia's Adriatic coast.
Ambitious developments have been acknowledged by the International Blue Flag organization, whose sign of quality has been awarded to Lolić Beach since 2008. There are more less developed and crowded beaches besides Lolić in Pirovac, just like the beach south of Lolić.

Hotel accommodation is offered by one hotel (Miran), but there are many family-run apartment buildings. There are two campsites in Pirovac, one is run by Hotel Miran, the other one is situated right next to Lolić Beach.
Shopping can be done locally, there are two supermarkets (Studenac) and there are further small shops and a greenmarket. Most of the restaurants, cafes and bars are located around the main square, where the old town meets the new. One can find a gas station on the NW end of the town, Jadranska Banka has its branch on the riva and there are two more ATM machines in Pirovac (OTP Banka and Raiffeisen).

The ambience of the old town is appealing for walks in the evening or the night. Those who don't like tranquility will probably enjoy one of the best disco clubs in Croatia, Klub Porat (towards Zadar from Pirovac, in Prosika Bay). Visitors of Pirovac would probably don't want to miss a trip to Island Murter and even more so an excursion to the Kornati Islands. Another popular destination for a trip in Pirovac's vicinity is Lake Vrana (Vransko jezero) and Vrana Castle.
